THIS IS YOUR BROWSER.com

Digesting Design

The brief was to educate users about web browsers and browser choice in a non-partisan way.

THIS IS YOUR BROWSER.com won’t just be another website, but a platform in which the browser itself becomes a format of communication and education.

The target audience of THIS IS YOUR BROWSER.com are mainstream users who, whilst already familiar with using browsers, wish to learn more detail about browser functionality. This audience also seek to use the most appropriate browser for their usage, being open to new versions or a different browser completely.

THIS IS YOUR BROWSER.com would be sent out virally to influential websites, blogs and individuals throughout the online community such as wired.co.uk. If it proved to be an effective platform for browser education and browser choice, the hope would be for online community members like Wired to pass it onto their readers and for conversations to begin about the idea. Most importantly, the aim would be to use viral communication to drive people to the resource.
