I am fascinated by transitions. Each night our consciousness makes the transition from waking to sleeping and the world we know is a result of endless stages of biological and technological evolution. I have explored the relationship between these states and applied them to my own experience, creating a distinctly personal body of work. My films incorporate a variety of media, ranging from digital video to cel animation and stop motion. Works include a hand-drawn animation that addresses the notion of distance between entities separated by space and time, while others explore the universal subject of dreams and the symbols that inhabit them.
